Smooth Latin Groove has been ‘hand picked’ to teach a workshop in Zouk at the 3rd Annual Sydney Salsa Congress.
 
The Sydney Salsa Congress is an internationally recognized event that brings together more than 4000 dancers for a weekend of dance celebration. The biggest and brightest gig on the Australian dance calendar, the line-up includes some of the best Latin dance instructors in the world. It’s a huge honour for SLG to be among the elite few invited to teach at this year’s Sydney Salsa Congress!

"Making that decision to take dance classes can be intimidating.  The course structure at Smooth Latin Groove, however, makes it much easier, even for a shy introvert like me, by ensuring that absolute beginners commence lessons with other absolute beginners.  There are mistakes and laughter throughout the lessons and only half way through the Foundation course we're already dancing, with confidence, sensual Zouk and sexy Salsa.  The teaching methods employed are well-considered and ever-evolving with the leader and follower roles being taught in tandem and then tied together within minutes.  I can't imagine more friendly and supportive teachers and would heartily recommend Smooth Latin Groove to anyone."

Ian and Desley provide easy to follow instructions that help you to understand the dance styles that they teach, providing an excellent Latin Foundation class for beginners. Not once have I felt left-behind or lacking the information I need to get moving. I find myself constantly looking forward to the next class. All I had to do was take one small step out of my comfort zone and now I find myself taking much bigger and more confident steps every lesson.
My partner and I have fallen in love with Latin dance (especially Zouk) and we have already signed up for the next course. We can't wait!

".....you fell very comfortable, even though as a beginner I was quite apprehensive. I soon relaxed and have enjoyed their instruction ever since. The class is not too many and not too few, after just a couple of weeks, everyone in the class know each other and there hasn’t been one person drop out. You can see and feel the improvement in your dancing every lesson, its great. If you have 3 left feet like me, I highly recommend you try this, you will be surprised!

We have been attending your classes for about 6 months and we just need to tell you how much we enjoy them.
We have made so many friends, the teachers and assistants are great, and the lessons are easy to follow. We have also attended a few workshops and dance nights and they are so much fun.
The "Rueda" workshop has been the highlight so far as it's so addictive.
Latin dancing has given us zest and passion into what can be sometimes the grind of everyday life and for that we thank you.
