Our group in which I have meet some great people have progressed to a level where we can confidently dance at the social nights which are an awesome way to put our new found skill into practice!

The Sydney Salsa Congress is an internationally recognized event that brings together more than 4000 dancers for a four days of dance celebration.

Over the past few years, I’ve attended a number of Latin dancing lessons and establishments. Without doubt, I have found Smooth Latin Groove to be the most professional, comprehensive and enjoyable of the lot. The lessons are extremely well structured and presented in a thoroughly informative and personable manner by friendly staff. Within the lessons, I’ve found a perfect balance of clear instruction, a comfortable learning pace and entertaining social dynamic. The leap from the “Wow-check-that-move-out-stage”, as it’s demonstrated at the start of the lesson, to the “Wow-I-can’t-believe-I’m-doing-it-right-now” at the end of the session, is an easy and thoroughly enjoyable journey.

I have been to a couple of Latin Dance schools in the past, but none compare to the standard Smooth Latin Groove sets. The Studio is professionally laid out, the teachers are always friendly and easy to get along with and the tuition is excellent.

Classes at Smooth Latin Groove are sensationally superior to others. The classes are Fabulous Fun and Fine Moves! Ian is particularly patient and a terrific teacher! We laugh a lot whilst practicing our marvelous moves! Exercise has never been so energizing and enjoyable. Smooth Latin Groove is absolutely amazing!

I would just like to say how much I love my Salsa 2 class! As a full time student, it is so easy to get bogged down in books, and other brainiac activities. Having had dance as a passion quite a few years ago, I was apprehensive to go back (as a beginner) in a new style. Smooth latin groove has a perfect balance of professionalism and a warm, friendly, fun atmosphere. I cannot express how much I love it, and how addicted to salsa I am now :-) You guys have reignited my passion for dance, and I now have a smile on my face that no amount of uni work can remove!!!

We have been attending your classes for about 6 months and we just need to tell you how much we enjoy them.
We have made so many friends, the teachers and assistants are great, and the lessons are easy to follow. We have also attended a few workshops and dance nights and they are so much fun.
The "Rueda" workshop has been the highlight so far as it's so addictive.
Latin dancing has given us zest and passion into what can be sometimes the grind of everyday life and for that we thank you.

....you feel very comfortable, even though as a beginner I was quite apprehensive. I soon relaxed and have enjoyed their instruction ever since. The class is not too many and not too few, after just a couple of weeks, everyone in the class know each other and there hasn’t been one person drop out. You can see and feel the improvement in your dancing every lesson, its great. If you have 3 left feet like me, I highly recommend you try this, you will be surprised!
