Gafieira Samba is a popular Brazilian Style, loved for its energetic movements, its spirited connection between dance partners, and its entwining, Tango-like leg movements. Bachata is a beautiful romantic partner dance from the Dominican Republic. It is very passionate, fun and easy to learn, and its music can be often heard at salsa events. Cha Cha Cha, an offshoot of the Mambo, today is a stylish partner dance, with grounded attitude and accented movements connected to the rhythm.
No previous dance experience is required for the Foundation Short Latin Courses. However, if you have been dancing other styles, and have a strong understanding of timing and leading/following skills, these courses will have you dancing Gafieira Samba, Bachata and Cha Cha Cha very quickly indeed.

What should I wear?
Wear clothes that you feel good in and that also give you room to move. Good fitting shoes that are held securely on your foot (with little or even no heel to start) is the best way to go.
 
Do I need to have a partner?
You can come alone or as part of a couple.
 
Special Requirements?
No. Just yourself and a sense of humour.
