Learn Cha Cha Cha Dancing in Brisbane
Cha Cha Cha, an offshoot of Mambo, always puts a smile on people's faces at Smooth Latin Groove. In the slow Mambo tempo there was a distinct sound in the music that people began dancing to, calling the step the 'Triple' Mambo. Today it is a stylish partner dance of its own, with grounded attitude and accented movements connected to the percussion rhythms in the music. The dance consists of three quick steps (the 'cha-cha-cha') and two slow steps on the '2-3': breaking (stepping forward) on '2', with the Cha Cha steps falling on the 'Gong Gong' ('4 &'). Brisbane's Smooth Latin Groove teaches authentic Puerto Rican style of linear Cha Cha Cha, with smooth partner work interspersed with groovy shines or individual footwork.
New Cha Cha Cha Intensive Course is starting 9th November.
