Smooth Latin Groove is excited to announce its new performance Choreography Course.
"Bachata Madrid Style"
Smooth Latin Groove has produced award winning choreographies and is excited to offer dancers this exclusive opportunity.
Course starts Saturday 28th May
Instructors: Jose, Ian, Josh, Desley & Helen G
A minimum of 11 x 75 minute sessions with additional sessions scheduled towards the end of the course until the students are ready to perform.The team will have various performance opportunities during Latin events in 2012, (Please note that a selection process is involved for competitions).
Places are limited and booking is essential! Open to all past & present SLG students of Intermediate Level and above.
Elements covered will include:
Posture – Technique - Stage Craft – Expression – Balance – Dance Lines
During the course, the students will receive intense group and personal attention from their instructors to ensure that they focus on specific areas requiring improvement. This is a great chance for you to improve your dance style and technique dramatically, whilst learning essential performance skills, designed to make you stand out on the stage and on the dance floor.

Please note that your full dedication to all group sessions is an essential requirement of participating in these courses.
* Attending rehearsals is mandatory. If you miss rehearsals, your rehearsal coordinator as well as your partner must be informed well in advance.
* If you show a lack of commitment or interest in rehearsing, SLG reserves the right to ask you not to perform.
* Performance course fee does not include costume or shoe costs.
* Participation in a course does not automatically secure a performance spot - performers will be chosen by the choreographer.
* Course fee is non-refundable or non transferable.
